CORAL SHORES
Where it began...
Coral Shores began with Ava and Ani, the five-year-old twin daughters of a friend. Both have sensitive skin, and their mom asked if I could create something gentle for them. It was a simple request, but it gave me a completely different starting point from the other lines I had been creating.
I started with colloidal oatmeal and chamomile. From there, I began looking at other ingredients that made sense for the soft, comforting formula I had in mind. Aloe vera and marshmallow root joined the formula, along with other carefully chosen ingredients. I also decided to leave out added fragrance, allowing the natural character of the chamomile and oatmeal to remain.
As the line began to take shape, I pictured a quiet shoreline with pale sand, calm water, shells and pieces of white coral along the beach. Nothing bold or complicated—just soft, peaceful and gentle.
But the best part was that Ava and Ani loved having a lotion that had been made especially for them. What began as something I created for two little girls became an entire line centered around gentle, uncomplicated body care.
Coral Shores will always belong, just a little bit, to Ava and Ani.
The Line
Coral Shores is the softest, gentlest line in the Seaside Daisy collection. The Botanical Body Lotion brings together colloidal oatmeal, chamomile, aloe vera, marshmallow root and carefully selected ingredients in a fragrance-free formula made with sensitive skin in mind.
The Botanical Balm takes that same gentle approach and puts it into a richer, more concentrated product for areas that need a little extra conditioning and protection. It can be used on its own or alongside the lotion when skin needs something a little more substantial.
Both products grew from the same simple idea that started Coral Shores in the first place: gentle, uncomplicated care created with sensitive skin in mind.
