MINERAL LAGOON
Where it began...
Mineral Lagoon was actually the final line I created for the Seaside Daisy collection. By that point, I was using these products every day and had a pretty good sense of what I had—and what I felt was still missing. I wanted something incredibly fresh, clean and light. Something that felt like cool water and crisp spa air.
Cucumber became the starting point. It had exactly that fresh character I was looking for, and from there I started researching other ingredients that made sense alongside it. That led me to watermelon seed oil, prickly pear seed oil, aloe vera and sea lettuce-infused jojoba. Each brought something different to the formula, but together they started creating the light, aquatic feeling I had pictured.
As the line began to take shape, I knew exactly what Mineral Lagoon looked like in my head: crystal-clear water surrounded by forest, smooth river stones beneath the surface, and those incredible shades of blue and green you find in hidden places throughout the Pacific Northwest. Cool, clean, quiet and almost untouched.
What began as the finishing piece of the Seaside Daisy collection ended up having a personality completely its own—fresh, uncomplicated, and exactly what I didn't know was missing.
The Line
Mineral Lagoon brings that fresh, aquatic character into two lightweight body-care products. The Botanical Body Lotion combines cucumber seed oil, watermelon seed oil, prickly pear seed oil, aloe vera and other carefully selected ingredients to moisturize and condition the skin while keeping the overall feel fresh and comfortable for everyday use.
The Botanical Dry Oil takes that same idea in an even lighter direction. It's designed to give the skin the conditioning benefits of botanical oils with a silky, lightweight finish, making it easy to use on its own or layered with the lotion when you want a little more.
Together, they capture everything I wanted Mineral Lagoon to feel like:
